Robert Corson was a business associate of Ian Stuart Spiro and was indicted in a savings and loan scam. He was found dead in an El Paso, Texas, motel room the week of the Spiro family's death. Officials stated he died of a heart attack. Corson was reportedly a CIA operative.1
Corson was reported to have carried money to South America in a deal to deliver covert weapons. He was also alleged to have associated with California investor Wayne Reeder, who was seen at a Wackenhut Corporation/Contra meeting in Riverside County.1
