#Ted Koppel is an American broadcast journalist, best known as the anchor and managing editor of Nightline from 1980 to 2005. On November 28, 1995, Koppel hosted a Nightline exposé that made the Star Gate program public1.
During the broadcast, Koppel interviewed Dale Graff of the DIA and Robert Gates of the CIA. Graff defended the integrity of the programs, while Gates downplayed their significance. Koppel also interviewed William Green, a customs agent, who confirmed the story of how Angela Dellafiora, a DIA psychic, had located Charles Frank Jordan, an Federal Bureau of Investigation Most Wanted Fugitive1.
