Simon Gabbay
Israeli intelligence asset in Paris who coordinated the October 1980 Paris meeting between Israeli, Iranian, and American delegations.
Simon Gabbay was a cousin of Ari Ben-Menashe's father and the head of a Jewish organization in Paris, France. He served as an Israeli intelligence asset for many years.1
Gabbay coordinated the October 1980 Paris Summit Meeting between Israeli and Iranian delegations, which included George H.W. Bush, William J. Casey, and Mehdi Karrubi. His role was to eliminate direct contact between Israeli and Iranian embassy personnel. He continued to serve this function in subsequent years.1
