Nikita Casap

Nikita Casap is a Waukesha, Wisconsin man sentenced to two consecutive life terms in March 2026 for murdering his mother and stepfather in February 2025 to fund a planned assassination of President Trump, with the FBI documenting extensive Terrorgram radicalization and contacts with European co-conspirators.

Nikita Casap (born approximately 2007, Waukesha, Wisconsin) was a 17-year-old neo-Nazi who on approximately February 11, 2025 shot and killed his mother, Tatiana Casap, and his stepfather, Donald Mayer, at the family's home in Waukesha County. His stated purpose was to acquire the funds and means to assassinate President Donald Trump and trigger the accelerationist collapse of American society. He lived with the bodies for approximately two weeks before fleeing with stolen cash, jewelry, passports, his stepfather's firearm, the family dog, and the household Volkswagen Atlas. He was apprehended in Kansas and charged in Waukesha County. He pleaded guilty on January 8, 2026, and was sentenced on March 6, 2026, to two consecutive life terms without possibility of parole by Waukesha County Circuit Court Judge Ralph Ramirez.1

Murders and Flight

Casap killed Tatiana Casap and Donald Mayer in their Waukesha home and then remained at the residence with the bodies for approximately two weeks, during which time he continued his online activity and assassination planning. Before departing he took approximately $14,000 in cash, jewelry, passports, Mayer's firearm, the family pet, and the family vehicle.

Federal investigators, working from a search warrant affidavit filed March 18, 2025, documented that Casap had been communicating on Telegram with a contact using the username "Angel of Death" about the assassination plan and with a separate contact in Russia about plans to overthrow the U.S. government. A third contact, whose phone number was registered to Vodafone Ukraine and whose name transliterates from Cyrillic as "POMaH BiKTOBHH," had allegedly provided Casap with detailed instructions for concealing the bodies, evading law enforcement, and executing a post-assassination escape to Ukraine, where he planned to live in hiding for approximately a decade.2

He was intercepted by law enforcement and arrested in Kansas before he could leave the country.

Manifesto and Assassination Planning

Casap left a three-page manifesto titled "Accelerate the Collapse" with an explicit accelerationist argument: that Trump's assassination would foment a political revolution and "save the white race" from what the document called "Jewish controlled politicians." The operative sentence, quoted in court documents and widely reported, was: "Do absolutely anything you can that will lead to the collapse of America or any country you live in. This is the only way we can save the White race." The manifesto also contained the phrase "HAIL HITLER HAIL THE WHITE RACE HAIL VICTORY" alongside imagery of Adolf Hitler.2

His assassination method evolved from an initial plan to mount an AK-47 on a commercially available drone to a revised plan involving dropping explosives from a drone above Trump. To fund the drone and explosives acquisition, Casap transferred approximately $8,700 in Bitcoin from his stepfather's account to individuals he believed were supplying the equipment. Those individuals were scammers; no actual drone or explosives were ever delivered.13

Online Network Affiliations

Casap was active in at least five extremist Telegram channels at the time of his arrest. Documented affiliations included a Russian-language neo-Nazi chat that distributed instructions for building explosives and poison, and a channel run by or associated with Misanthropic Division that had more than 4,300 participants. He operated on these platforms under the aliases "accelerationist14" and "Awoken."

His manifesto cited unnamed Terrorgram Collective publications, which federal investigators described as including instructions for building bombs and sabotaging critical infrastructure. He also explicitly cited the writings of Juraj Krajčík, the Slovak neo-Nazi who killed two people at the Tepláreň LGBTQ+ bar in Bratislava in October 2022 as a Terrorgram "saint." Court documents also documented an affiliation with the Order of Nine Angles.2

Terrorgram Attribution and DOJ Record

In the factual basis for Dallas Humber's August 8, 2025 guilty plea, DOJ described the Wisconsin murders as one of seven attacks attributed to Humber's guidance, referencing Casap as "N.C." and describing him as having "murdered two people in Wisconsin in furtherance of his plot to assassinate a federal official." The designation of Trump as a "federal official" in this framing reflects 18 U.S.C. § 1114 language used in the prosecution. This document constitutes the primary legal record in the public domain connecting Humber directly to Casap's radicalization pathway.4

Arrest and Sentencing

State charges in Waukesha County included two counts of first-degree intentional homicide, identity theft, theft, and two counts of hiding a corpse. Under the terms of his January 8, 2026 plea agreement, the non-homicide counts were dismissed in exchange for his guilty plea to both homicide charges.

Judge Ralph Ramirez imposed two consecutive life terms with no parole eligibility at the March 6, 2026 sentencing, explicitly ruling out any future parole consideration. Casap was 18 at sentencing, having turned 18 after the murders but before the plea proceedings.1

Federal Investigation Status

As of May 2026, no federal indictment against Casap had been publicly announced. The FBI search warrant affidavit, cited in press reporting, stated that probable cause existed to believe he committed federal offenses including conspiracy to assassinate the president (18 U.S.C. § 1751) and conspiracy to use a weapon of mass destruction. The state life sentences reduced the legal urgency of federal prosecution, but the identities of his European co-conspirators, including the Russian-speaking contacts documented in the affidavit, remained publicly undisclosed as of May 2026. Investigative reporting as late as March 2026 described the assassination-plot network as still "shrouded in mystery."3
