Mir Hossein Mousavi was the Prime Minister of Iran. He had close ties with Manuchehr Ghorbanifar, an Iranian businessman and CIA agent. Mousavi was aligned with Mohsen Rafiqdoost, the minister for the Iranian Revolution, and tried to open the second channel for arms sales to Iran.1
