Tucker, a courier, and John Gay were friends of Alan Williams of Cardiff and for some twenty years abused boys in Bristol and South Wales. In 1993 he, Gay and Tony Stevens were arrested and jailed in Portugal after being caught paying local children to make pornographic videos in their camper van. Arrested in the Avon and Somerset inquiry Operation Panorama, which also led German police to raid a video distributor in Düsseldorf, they were tried at Swindon Crown Court in September 2000. Tucker was sentenced to eight years on nine counts of buggery and indecent assault of under-aged boys and administering stupefying drugs; he had been given bail for treatment for HIV and three days before the verdict jumped bail and disappeared.²³ He was traced to South Africa and arrested there in 2016 pending extradition to the United Kingdom.³
