The U.S. Air Force is the aerial warfare service branch of the United States. In the context of the Remote Viewers narrative, the Air Force was a key customer for the Grill Flame program, tasking remote viewers with sensitive intelligence problems.1

One notable instance involved the tasking of Mel Riley and Joe McMoneagle to remote-view a new Chinese nuclear device at Lop Nor. Air Force officials, anxious to supplement their conventional intelligence efforts, sought details about the device's design and whether it had been tested. The remote viewers' descriptions, particularly of an "hourglass-shaped device," were of significant interest to Air Force analysts. The Air Force also tasked remote viewers to locate a crashed U.S. Navy A-6 aircraft, which Ken Bell successfully did.1

Additionally, the Air Force was involved in the public rollout of the B-2 Stealth bomber, which Mel Riley had accurately remote-viewed years prior during an opsec tasking, demonstrating the program's ability to penetrate highly secret projects.1
