Centre du Christ Liberateur

Centre du Christ Liberateur (CCL) was a progressive religious organization founded by Joseph Douce, a Belgian priest and former NATO corporal with a psychology degree. The CCL supported sexual minority groups including sadomasochists and pedophiles, and was headquartered in an old porn theatre in central Paris, France. The organization fell under investigation in 1987. The CCL was accessible only to adults and took care of the pastoral and psychological aspects of sexual minorities including homosexuals, transsexuals, and pedophiles, without having any commercial activity according to Douce.¹

Joseph Douce's CCL served as a connection point in the network linking Nicolas Glencross to the Toro Bravo pornographers. Douce distributed and managed the subscription list for Gaie France, the pedophile magazine published by neo-Nazi child pornographer Michel Caignet. A bookstore operated by Joseph Douce called Autres Cultures was placed under surveillance to discover possible links with pedophile networks, in particular with a network based in the Netherlands. Douce had made frequent business trips to the Netherlands and had sent contact details of Dutch specialists in pedophilia issues to associates, notably the senator Edward Brongersma and psychologist Fritz Bernard, both contributors to Francis Shelden's PAN Magazine published under the Spartacus umbrella.¹
