Liege
Liege is a Belgian city that served as the European pickup point for Israeli-chartered cargo flights collecting U.S. military matériel purchased from NATO stocks for transshipment to Iran during the Iran-Contra arms deals.
Liege is a city in Belgium. It served as a hand-over point for U.S. military matériel purchased from NATO stocks in Europe by Israel. Israeli chartered cargo planes would fly to Liege to pick up the matériel, and then return to Tel Aviv before transporting the weapons to Iran.1
