Romeo was a U.S. Customs Service agent. He was the partner of Joe King and was involved in the Hashemi sting operation, which was designed to entrap individuals connected with Israeli intelligence arms sales to Iran.1
Romeo and King contacted Cyrus Hashemi and contrived an illegal frame-up. Romeo also videotaped some of the people Hashemi met and secretly recorded.1
