In one notable session concerning the fugitive Charles Frank Jordan, Betters recorded the exchange between Fern Gauvin, the operations manager, and Dellafiora. When Dellafiora stated Jordan was in "Lowell, Wyoming," and Gauvin questioned if she meant Lowell, Massachusetts, Betters interjected, "She said Wyoming, Fern," confirming Dellafiora's specific location1.
