Janice Rand was an Army captain who worked in one of the INSCOM offices at Fort Meade. She was among the initial group of ten or eleven candidates selected by Skip Atwater and Scotty Watt for the experimental Gondola Wish (later Grill Flame) remote viewing unit.1
