The Program, 2024
The Hollywood Reporter reported on September 25, 2024 that Fox directed "The Program," "exploring the unprecedented bipartisan congressional effort to uncover what intelligence agencies really know about UFOs, now referred to as UAP," narrated by Coyote, produced by Fox and Lance Mungia, with Jim Martin and Henry Marx of Lab 9 Films as executive producers, and Verve Ventures "handling sales," with the film "set to screen for buyers."2 Interviewees named in that report were Christopher Mellon (described as the former deputy assistant secretary of defense for intelligence), Garry Nolan of Stanford University, Jason Sands ("a master sergeant in the United States Air Force"), Craig Lindsay, Nick Pope, Representatives Andre Carson and Tim Burchett, Senator Harry Reid and Kirk McConnell, formerly of the Senate Armed Services Committee.2 The Oxford Eagle reported on December 10, 2024 that "The Program" would be released on December 16, 2024 on Apple TV, Amazon Prime, Hulu and Vimeo, with Percy Townes, an Ole Miss alumnus, as associate producer.6
In a December 18, 2024 interview Fox described attending a congressional hearing weeks earlier at which Rear Admiral Tim Gallaudet testified, said he had been "told" the plan "is to at least disclose the fact that we have definitive proof that we're not alone by 2030," and, in the interviewer's paraphrase, said his research indicated the Department of Energy oversees many unacknowledged special access programs.7 He also recounted a conversation with a general who said "we have overwhelming data" of "structured craft of unknown origin."7
