Edward Levinson was a Las Vegas gambler and a lieutenant of Florida mobster Meyer Lansky. His Fremont Hotel in Las Vegas was financed through a Hoffa loan. Levinson was one of the associates who brought a lawsuit against Bobby Baker in 1963, alleging that Baker failed to live up to certain bargains. Through Baker, Levinson also became acquainted with Clint Murchison, Sr..1
