Donald A. Bejcek was a Secret Service agent, aged 29, who was killed in a head-on collision on March 5, 1983 (this became known as the Queen's Accident). The collision involved a Mariposa County Sheriff's vehicle driven by Roderick Sinclair and occurred while scouting Queen Elizabeth II's motorcade route in the Yosemite National Park foothills. George P. LaBarge and Donald Robinson were also killed in the accident.1
