Alexis Aldair Chavez (born approximately 2006, San Antonio, Texas), known online as "Zack" and "Zack8884," was a leader and administrator of the 8884 network, a 764-related online child exploitation organization operating within The Com ecosystem. Chavez directed 8884's operations, which included coercing minors to self-harm on live video, producing and distributing CSAM (child sexual abuse material), and related exploitation. He pleaded guilty in December 2025 to RICO conspiracy and child exploitation counts in a case brought by the Department of Justice, becoming the first defendant in the broader 764/Com ecosystem to face federal racketeering charges. He faces up to 60 years in prison at sentencing.1

8884 Network

8884's name derives from a member alias. The network operated as a sub-network within The Com's sextortion-and-coercion sphere, using the same foundational methods as 764: recruiting minors through social media and gaming platforms, coercing them into producing CSAM through blackmail and psychological manipulation, and demanding ongoing self-harm on video as continuing proof of control. Chavez held a leadership and administrative role, directing members and managing the network's operations.

Arrest and Guilty Plea

The DOJ brought charges against Chavez in the federal court system. In December 2025, he pleaded guilty to RICO conspiracy - a racketeering charge that treats the 8884 network as an ongoing criminal enterprise - alongside child exploitation counts. The RICO charge was notable as the first application of federal racketeering statutes to a 764-affiliated network, framing the organization's distributed online structure as an enterprise under federal law. Chavez was 19 at the time of his plea. His sentencing, scheduled for 2026, carries a maximum of 60 years.1
