Le Dolo

Le Dolo was a nightclub in Brussels, Belgium managed by Michel Forgeot, where Jean-Michel Nihoul connected with figures from what were described as the "clean professions." Jean-Michel Nihoul was a quasi-underworld figure who brushed shoulders with prominent politicians and officials at Le Dolo. The venue served as a hub for Nihoul's network, where group sex parties were held and attended by influential politicians and officials. Nihoul claimed to have the government in his hands and boasted about his guest list. Photographs and film recordings were made of these gatherings, providing material for blackmail.1

Connection to ASCO

Michel Forgeot, the manager of Le Dolo, was also a founder of Achats Services Commerces (ASCO), the car business operated by Jean-Michel Nihoul and his companion Marleen De Cokere. Other ASCO founders included Jean-Louis Delamotte, an old acquaintance of Nihoul from the Brussels sex party scene. The Dolo served as a meeting place where Nihoul's criminal connections intersected with legitimate business and political figures. X2, a witness in the X-Dossier, was familiar with the Dolo nightclub and Nihoul, and identified Baron Benoit de Bonvoisin, Jean-Paul Dumont, Count Maurice Lippens, and Count Leopold Lippens among attendees at high society sadomasochist child sex parties around Belgium.1

An analysis of the original file into the murder of Christine Van Hees showed there was a real chance that Nihoul and Van Hees had crossed paths at the beginning of 1984. Nihoul was active at a free radio station called Radio Activite, located above the swimming pool where Christine Van Hees used to swim every week. The old file contained a never-exploited testimony against Nihoul's stamping ground Le Dolo.1
