Australian Security Intelligence Service

The Australian Security Intelligence Service (ASIS) is Australia's external intelligence service that passed ASIO's warning about Oscar Guerrero's attempt to sell Mordecai Vanunu's Dimona photographs to Israel, enabling Mossad to begin surveillance of Vanunu.

The Australian Security Intelligence Service (ASIS) is Australia's external intelligence service. It was informed by the Australian Security Intelligence Organization (ASIO) about Oscar Guerrero's attempt to sell photographs of Israel's nuclear facility, provided by Mordecai Vanunu. ASIS then informed Israel.1

ASIS was aware of and gave permission for aircraft loaded with arms to land in Western Australia, en route to Tehran, as part of a smokescreen operation by the Iran-Israel Joint Committee.1
