• TOW Missile The BGM-71 TOW (Tube-launched, Optically-tracked, Wire-guided) is a crew-portable anti-tank guided missile system developed by Hughes Aircraft Company for the U.S. Army. It appears throughout this vault as the primary weapons system transferred to Iran through Israeli intermediaries in the August-September 1985 phase of the Iran-Contra arms-for-hostages scheme.
