• John H. Stitcher Jr. John H. Stitcher Jr. was a Metropolitan Police Department Intelligence Division sergeant who filed the key February 19, 1987 report documenting CIA acknowledgment of a 'vested interest' in The Finders. He died in May 1993, five months before the DOJ formally reopened its investigation, rendering him unavailable as a witness.
