• James O'Connell FBI agent turned CIA security officer who as Johnny Roselli's case officer from September 1960 carried the Castro poison plot, rose to deputy director of security, and in 1968 vetted James Earl Ray's lawyer.
• Sheffield Edwards Colonel who directed the CIA's Office of Security when Richard Bissell asked in 1960 for 'gangster-type action' against Castro, and who through Robert Maheu enlisted Johnny Roselli and briefed Robert Kennedy in 1962.
