- Ewen Cameron Ewen Cameron was a Scottish-Canadian psychiatrist and president of the American Psychiatric Association who ran CIA-funded MKULTRA Subproject 68 at McGill University's Allan Memorial Institute from 1957 to 1963, subjecting unconsenting psychiatric patients to multi-week drug-induced sleep, massive electroconvulsive shocks, and LSD under his theory of 'psychic driving' as behavioral depatterning.
