[Pakistan](/places/pakistan/) is a country in South Asia. It is mentioned in connection with the assembly of 107 MM rockets and their launchers at a facility known as the Pakistan Ordinance Works. This was part of a plan formulated by [Michael Riconosciuto](/people/michael-riconosciuto/) to reconfigure Chinese 107 MM rockets into a backpack-portable effective artillery counter battery system for the [Mujahideen](/organizations/mujahideen/) in [Afghanistan](/places/afghanistan/).[^1]

[Lester Coleman](/people/lester-coleman/)'s affidavit also states that the [DEA](/organizations/dea/) was using [Euramae Trading Company](/organizations/euramae-trading-company/) to sell [PROMIS](/programs/promis/) software to drug abuse control agencies in various Middle Eastern countries, including [Pakistan](/places/pakistan/).[^1]
