Stefan Kanfer was a reporter for Time magazine. He was a vocal critic of the SRI's involvement in ESP research, particularly its work with Uri Geller. Kanfer targeted SRI for blame, stating, "SRI should be destroyed" for carrying out this kind of research, and that "That’s the way fascism began"1.
