[Shirley Boone](/people/shirley-boone/) was a member of FGBMFI ([Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship International](/organizations/full-gospel-business-mens-fellowship-international/)). In 1970, she, along with [Pat Boone](/people/pat-boone/), [Harold Bredesen](/people/harold-bredesen/), and [George Otis](/people/george-otis/), prayed with then-California Governor [Ronald Reagan](/people/ronald-reagan/) at his home in Sacramento.[^1]
