[Rod McKean](/people/rod-mckean/) was a Deputy in the Mariposa County Sheriff's Department. He was the partner of Sergeant [Roderick Sinclair](/people/roderick-sinclair/) and was with him during the "[Queen's Accident](/events/queens-accident/)" on March 5, 1983, when their vehicle collided with a Secret Service car.[^1]
