[Hebroni](/people/moshe-hebroni/) was involved in expediting the export license for tires sold to [Iran](/places/iran/) in April 1980. He also received a call from [Ari Ben-Menashe](/people/ari-ben-menashe/) regarding Kashani's request for military aid from [Israel](/places/israel/), and instructed [Ben-Menashe](/people/ari-ben-menashe/) to bring Kashani directly to the general headquarters of [IDF](/places/israel/)/MI.[^1]
