Ritter, along with Robert Ashmore, an ex-deputy, presented testimony to [George Vinson](/people/george-vinson/), the Regional Director of the Fresno [FBI](/organizations/federal-bureau-of-investigation/), regarding the corruption. However, Vinson reportedly felt the complaints had "no substance."[^1]
