She was among the initial group of ten or eleven candidates selected by [Skip Atwater](/people/frederick-atwater/) and [Scotty Watt](/people/murray-watt/) for the experimental [Gondola Wish](/programs/stargate-project/) (later [Grill Flame](/programs/stargate-project/)) remote viewing unit.[^1]
