[Earle Jones](/people/earle-jones/) was a branch chief at [SRI](/organizations/stanford-research-institute/). He was involved in the early remote viewing experiments conducted by [Hal Puthoff](/people/hal-puthoff/) and [Russell Targ](/people/russell-targ/). Jones, along with Puthoff, served as an outbound experimenter for [Pat Price](/people/pat-price/) in the first formal test of the "outbound" protocol, where Price accurately described their location at Hoover Tower on the Stanford University campus.[^1]
