Dennis W. Wright

Dennis W. Wright was a member of the original 1969 PROMIS design team who went on to work for INSLAW directly by 1974, and by 1990 was a Senior Research Computer Scientist in the DOJ's ICMS Re-engineering project within the Division of Innovations and Systems Development.

Dennis W. Wright was a member of the team assembled in 1969 to design the Prosecutor's Management Information System, working under co-directors Joan E. Jacoby and Charles R. Work with project manager Bill Hamilton at Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co.2

By 1974 Wright was working for INSLAW directly. By 1990 he was employed by the Department of Justice as a Senior Research Computer Scientist in the ICMS Re-engineering project within the Division of Innovations and Systems Development -- the DOJ's Integrated Case Management System successor to PROMIS, which Wright had helped design two decades earlier.1
