Bill Moyers is an American journalist and former government official. He served as a trusted aide and sometime speechwriter for President Lyndon B. Johnson. In October 1964, Moyers was ordered by Johnson, along with Myer Feldman, to clean out Walter W. Jenkins's safe after Jenkins's arrest on homosexual solicitation charges. They discovered a private cache of money, including funds from Abraham Feinberg.1
