[Bart Cox](/people/bart-cox/) was a division chief at [SRI](/organizations/stanford-research-institute/). He oversaw some of the early [psi](/concepts/parapsychology/) research conducted by [Hal Puthoff](/people/hal-puthoff/) and [Russell Targ](/people/russell-targ/), including experiments with [Uri Geller](/people/uri-geller/). Cox was involved in selecting target sites for outbound remote viewing experiments, and on one occasion, he and Puthoff served as outbound experimenters for [Pat Price](/people/pat-price/), who precognitively described their location at the Redwood City Marina.[^1]
