[Art Suchesk](/people/art-suchesk/) was a friend of [Allan Boyak](/people/allan-boyak/) from his Green Beret days. He ran a [CIA](/organizations/central-intelligence-agency/) proprietary company called Hoffman Electronics. Suchesk repeatedly encountered [Robert Booth Nichols](/people/robert-booth-nichols/) in places like [Singapore](/places/singapore/), the [Philippines](/places/philippines/), and [Taiwan](/places/taiwan/) over a two-year period after the Los Angeles [FBI](/organizations/federal-bureau-of-investigation/) dropped its interest in Nichols. Suchesk was based out of Zurich, [Switzerland](/places/switzerland/), during this time, reportedly continuing his "front man work" for the [CIA](/organizations/central-intelligence-agency/).[^1]
