[Andrew Dymock](/people/andrew-dymock/) (born May 14, 1997, Bath, Somerset, England) founded the System Resistance Network (SRN) and subsequently the Sonnenkrieg Division (SKD), the two most significant organizational successors to [National Action](/organizations/national-action/) after its proscription in December 2016. SRN was itself proscribed in 2017 and SKD in 2019. Dymock was arrested in December 2018 at Gatwick Airport and tried at the Central Criminal Court (Old Bailey) in London. A jury found him guilty on all 15 counts in June 2021 and on July 21, 2021, Judge Mark Dennis QC sentenced him to 7 years imprisonment plus 3 years extended licence, describing him as "dangerous" and posing "a significant risk of serious harm" to the public.[^1]

### SRN and Sonnenkrieg Division

After National Action's proscription Dymock founded SRN as a successor organization. Following internal disputes within SRN over the degree of [Order of Nine Angles](/organizations/order-of-nine-angles/) (O9A)-affiliated occultism to incorporate into the ideology, he founded the Sonnenkrieg Division in 2018. SKD was explicitly modeled on [Atomwaffen Division](/organizations/atomwaffen-division/), incorporating O9A philosophy heavily, making it one of the most O9A-proximate proscribed organizations in the UK ecosystem. The Home Secretary proscribed SKD in 2019.

Dymock operated SRN's website and its associated Twitter account, using both to disseminate terrorism content including calls for the extermination of Jewish people and encouragement of lone-actor attacks.[^2]

### Arrest and Trial

A BBC News investigation exposed Dymock as the founder and leader of SRN and SKD. He was arrested in December 2018 at Gatwick Airport, where police found him carrying extremist literature and neo-Nazi insignia. The case was prosecuted at the Old Bailey over a jury trial. The verdict was returned in June 2021; sentencing followed on July 21, 2021.

The 15 counts covered:
- 12 terrorism-related offences: dissemination of terrorist material and encouraging terrorism through the SRN website and Twitter account, including content calling for the extermination of Jewish people and encouraging lone-actor violence
- 3 hate crime offences

Judge Mark Dennis QC noted in sentencing that Dymock had shown no remorse and posed a continuing danger.[^1]
