### Weapons Procurement

Blandón recalled that several top Contra leaders attended Lister's weapons sales presentation, including Eden Pastora, Adolfo Chamorro, and Mariano Montealgre. The meeting illustrated the direct connection between the Blandón-[Meneses](/people/norwin-meneses/) drug trafficking network and Contra military procurement. Chamorro, known by the nickname "Popo," was part of the broader Chamorro family network involved in Contra operations, which included [Edmundo Chamorro](/people/edmundo-chamorro/) of UDN-FARN and Fernando "El Negro" Chamorro.[^2]
