The Church of New Revelation was a sham religious entity incorporated in New Jersey that served as an umbrella organization for child exploitation operations during the 1970s. It was created solely on paper by [Dyer Grossman](/people/dyer-grossman/) to gain tax-exempt status for affiliated programs. [Father Bud's Boys Farm](/organizations/father-buds-boys-farm/) in Monteagle, Tennessee was incorporated under the Church of New Revelation, as was [Brother Paul's Children's Mission](/organizations/brother-pauls-childrens-mission/) on [North Fox Island](/places/north-fox-island/). The church was described by authorities as a fraudulent referral agency for pornography distribution rather than a legitimate religious organization. [Francis Shelden](/people/francis-shelden/) and [Adam Starchild](/people/adam-starchild/) were connected to the church through their roles in incorporating the North Fox Island mission.[^1]
