Solel Bone Ltd., of Haifa, was the largest Israeli engineering company involved in the construction of Dimona. It was closely associated with the Mapai Party, and Israelis involved in the early stages of construction acknowledged an extensive, and traditional, system of diverting contract funds to the party.1
