Femme Productions was an adult film company founded in 1984 by [Candida Royalle](/people/candida-royalle/) to produce "adult films from a woman's perspective" and films that couples could watch together. It released 18 films between 1984 and 2007, 13 directed by Royalle, which she described as "sensuously explicit," with "high production values, non-formulaic eroticism."[^1][^2] Its titles included *Three Daughters* (1986), *Sensual Escape* (1991), *Revelations* (1992), *My Surrender* (1996) and *Stud Hunters* (2002).[^1] The Internet Adult Film Database credits "RC Hürsch," a name used by [R.C. Horsch](/people/rc-horsch/), as director of *Lovers* (1993) and *Lovers 2* (1994) for the company.[^3] In the 1990s Femme's titles were distributed by Adam and Eve.[^1]
