Lolita Express

The Lolita Express is the press nickname for the Boeing 727-31 airliner, manufacturer's serial number 20115, that Jeffrey Epstein owned through a Delaware corporation, JEGE, Inc., under the registration N908JE. Built in 1969, the aircraft was fitted with a kitchen, a bedroom and about 25 business seats and was certificated for private passenger operations, not charter.¹ The logbooks kept by its pilots, Larry Visoski and David Rodgers, became the principal public record of who traveled with Epstein; a log entry records travel, not conduct.²³

Registration and Ownership

On January 19, 2001, Real Estate Exchange Inc. of Portland, Oregon, sold the aircraft, then registered N505LS, to JEGE, Inc., at an address in New York, New York 10022, and in April 2001 the registration number was changed to N908JE. The aircraft was listed on JEGE's Part 125 operating certificate, on which Epstein was named as chief executive, and Darren Indyke, Epstein's lawyer and later co-executor of his estate, signed the 2013 re-registration as JEGE's vice president. JEGE remained the registered owner until the registration was cancelled on October 5, 2019, two months after Epstein's death.¹ A 2007 draft federal indictment described JEGE's "sole business activities" as "the operation and ownership of a Boeing 727-31 aircraft bearing tail number N908JE," with Epstein as "president, sole director, and sole shareholder."⁴

The aircraft was based in West Palm Beach and was later stored at Brunswick Golden Isles Airport in Georgia, where a special agent of the Federal Aviation Administration placed it in September 2021.¹ As of September 2026 the registration N908JE is assigned to the same airframe, serial number 20115, under the name of Jet Assets Inc., a corporation at 1712 Pioneer Avenue, Cheyenne, Wyoming, with a certificate issued September 17, 2024, and expiring September 30, 2031.⁵

The Fleet and Its Companies

In August and September 2021, while prosecutors prepared the trial of Ghislaine Maxwell, an FAA special agent in the agency's Law Enforcement Assistance Program in Atlanta summarized for federal investigators the registration files of ten aircraft connected to Epstein; the email was later released among the Epstein Files (EFTA00021675 to EFTA00021680).¹ It records:

• A 1974 Gulfstream G-1159B, serial number 151, sold in 1994 by Gulfstream to Hyperion Air, Inc., of Wilmington, Delaware, with Rodgers signing as chief pilot and Epstein as president; its number was changed from N979GA to N909JE in May 1994. Indyke's name appears on filings in 1999 and 2013. Hyperion sold it in November 2013 to Starbridge Landing Inc. of Dover, Delaware, and it was deregistered on December 2, 2014, for export to Venezuela.
• A 2001 Bell 430 helicopter registered to Hyperion Air, Inc. in March 2012, with Indyke signing as corporate secretary, renumbered N331JE and transferred in August 2013 to Hyperion Air LLC of St. Thomas; the agent wrote that "the same players in the Inc and LLC are on the FAA registration paperwork, Darren INDYKE and Lawrence VISOSKI." It was sold in May 2020 through a Miami broker to QIR Air Resources LLC of Salt Lake City.
• A 1988 Gulfstream G-IV, serial number 1085, registered on May 30, 2013, to JEGE, LLC of St. Thomas, a company formed in the U.S. Virgin Islands on October 19, 2012, whose members were Epstein and Visoski; Visoski changed its number to N212JE in 2013 and N120JE in 2017. A 2019 filing named the members as Aviation Development Group LLC with Thomas H. Huff of Powder Springs, Georgia, as manager, and the agent noted that Huff was "of interest to" a Drug Enforcement Administration special agent in Atlanta. An aircraft security agreement for 2.8 million dollars naming JEGE Inc. as assignor was filed in June 2019.
• A 2007 Gulfstream G550, serial number 5173, sold by Chevron USA on March 29, 2017, to Plan D LLC, a Virgin Islands company formed in 2012 of which Epstein was a member and Visoski the manager; it took the number N212JE in January 2018. The agent wrote, "I don't see EPSTEIN's name on any of the FAA paperwork." Flight plans show it flying from Paris to Teterboro on July 7, 2019, and from Teterboro to Brunswick, Georgia, on July 11. On December 22, 2020, Visoski, for Plan D, "sold" it to Six G Aviation LLC, which "sold" it the same day to N550GP LLC of Ontario, California.
• A Bell 407 helicopter bought from the United Kingdom on October 30, 2002, by Air Ghislaine Inc. and registered N491GM, and a Sikorsky S-76C-2 bought by Air Ghislaine on December 30, 2008, with Visoski signing as director of aviation. Air Ghislaine Inc. changed its name to Shmitka Air Inc. on February 11, 2010, and to Freedom Air International Inc. on July 6, 2010, after which Indyke signed its filings as vice president. The Sikorsky, renumbered N722JE, was sold in 2011 to ASI Wings LLC of Hartford, Connecticut, and bought back on June 13, 2019, by Hyperion Air LLC with Visoski signing as manager, three weeks before Epstein's arrest; Hyperion sold it on May 13, 2021.

The agent found no aircraft registered to Epstein or Maxwell personally, and "no FAA certificates issued to Darren INDYKE."¹

The 2007 Draft Indictment

The draft indictment prepared in 2007 in the United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Florida, over the signature block of Alexander Acosta, recites dozens of flights as overt acts, each identified by the aircraft's corporate owner: travel from Teterboro "aboard the Gulfstream aircraft owned by Hyperion Air, Inc." and from New York or Canada "aboard the Boeing 727 aircraft owned by JEGE, INC." on dates on which girls identified as Jane Does were brought to 358 El Brillo Way in Palm Beach. Its forfeiture counts named the Palm Beach house.⁴ A May 2007 prosecution memorandum released in the Epstein files sought approval to present a sealed 60-count indictment on May 15, 2007, charging Epstein, JEGE, Inc., Hyperion Air, Inc. and three redacted co-conspirators, and described Epstein as "an extremely high flight risk" whose two airplanes were held in those corporations.⁶ No indictment was presented. The non-prosecution agreement signed in September 2007 disposed of the federal case, and JEGE and Hyperion continued to hold and operate Epstein's aircraft until after his death.¹⁷

The Flight Logs

Rodgers kept handwritten logs of the passengers on Epstein's aircraft, often listing them by initials. The logs surfaced in civil litigation brought by Epstein's victims between 2009 and 2015 and were entered as exhibits at Maxwell's 2021 trial; the Department of Justice republished them on February 27, 2025, as "Flight Log_Released in U.S. v. Maxwell," in six parts, in the first phase of its Epstein releases.²⁸ The Epstein Files Transparency Act of November 2025 required publication of all flight logs and pilot, customs and immigration records for "any aircraft, vessel, or vehicle owned, operated, or used by Jeffrey Epstein or any related entity."⁹

The logs list Bill Clinton on 26 flight segments comprising six trips between February 2002 and November 2003, including a September 2002 tour of Africa connected to the Clinton Foundation and a 2003 leg from Oslo to Novosibirsk on which the manifest listed Clinton, Epstein, the aide Doug Band and passengers recorded as "GM" and "SK." Clinton's spokesman acknowledged four trips; Clinton has denied knowledge of Epstein's crimes.¹⁰ Donald Trump's name appears in the logs on domestic legs, and no log entry places him on Little St. James.¹¹

Trial Testimony

Visoski, Epstein's longtime chief pilot, was the government's first witness at Maxwell's trial in the Southern District of New York and testified on November 29 and 30, 2021. He named passengers including Trump ("There was more than once, I believe"), Clinton, Prince Andrew, Senators John Glenn and George Mitchell, the actors Kevin Spacey and Chris Tucker and the violinist Itzhak Perlman. He testified that he "never saw any sexual activity" on the aircraft; of the accuser known at trial as "Jane," he said, "I didn't know her age. She didn't look young." He testified that he flew Epstein to Columbus, Ohio, to see Leslie Wexner, whom Epstein called his client, that "Ms. Maxwell had nothing to do with the passenger manifests," and that Epstein had paid for his two daughters' education and given him acreage at Zorro Ranch in New Mexico.²³ The FAA files show Visoski as manager of JEGE, LLC, Plan D LLC and Hyperion Air LLC and as an officer of Air Ghislaine and Freedom Air International.¹
