[[Switzerland]] is a country in Europe known for its banking system. [[Adnan Khashoggi]] established front companies in [[Switzerland]] and [[Liechtenstein]] to handle his commissions. In 1988, Khashoggi was arrested in [[Switzerland]], accused of concealing funds, held for three months, and then extradited to the [[United States]].[^1] [[Robert Booth Nichols]] had an office in Zurich, [[Switzerland]].
