The Blue Boy was a nightclub in the Spuistraat district of [[Amsterdam]] that operated as a boy brothel. In August 1993 a distressed British boy showed up at the UK Embassy in [[Amsterdam]] after escaping through the bathroom window of the Blue Boy and told embassy officials he had been sold into prostitution by [[Warwick Spinks]]. The boy's escape and report to embassy authorities directly implicated Spinks in the trafficking of children through the club.[^1]
The Blue Boy was also linked to allegations of snuff film production. An MP was said to have been present when a boy died during an orgy being filmed at the Blue Boy. [[Warwick Spinks|Spinks]] knew the MP and arranged a tour to [[Amsterdam]]; while there the MP went to the Blue Boy bar, where [[Warwick Spinks|Spinks]] was running a brothel. The information was not confirmed and the MP's identity never surfaced. Clear evidence that boys were tortured was discovered during investigations. Right across the street from the Blue Boy was another boy brothel investigated in [[Operation Framework]] for trafficking in snuff films, called [[Boys Club 21]]. Its manager was a close associate of [[Warwick Spinks]] named [[Alan Williams]]. The proximity of the two establishments in the Spuistraat district concentrated the boy brothel trade in a single area of [[Amsterdam]].[^1]
