Brigadier General [[Uri Simchoni]] was a member of the [[Iran-Israel Joint Committee]]. He served at various times as assistant deputy chief of staff for operations for the [[Israel Defense Forces]] and as a military attaché in [[Washington D.C.]]. He had also been the chief of the elite [[Golani infantry brigade|Golani infantry brigade]].[^1]
