[[Kenneth A. Roe]] was a Director of [[First Intercontinental Development Corporation|FIDCO]] and served as the Chairman and President of[[Burns & Roe, Inc]]., an international engineering and construction corporation. Burns & Roe, Inc. was a family corporation owned by Kenneth Roe and his family.[^1] Under Roe's leadership, Burns & Roe, Inc. was involved in major projects, including the engineering design and construction of the U.S.A. [[Fast Breeder Nuclear Reactor Plant]] in conjunction with [[Westinghouse Electric Corporation]], which was responsible for the nuclear system supply of steam.
