[[Bob Schilly]] was a Sergeant in the [[California Highway Patrol|CHP]]. He reported that Mariposa County Sheriff's Sergeant [[Roderick Sinclair]], who was driving with his partner, Deputy [[Rod McKean]], crossed the center line and hit the second of three Secret Service cars, causing it to tumble down a 10-foot embankment.
