> [!WARNING] INCOMPLETE RESEARCH > This page is in development. Mr. Brounstein is difficult to research. Sidney Brounstein was born in 1929. During 1967 he worked at the Public Administration Systems Department, Federal Systems Division, [[IBM]]. In 1969 he was on the team that created [[PROMIS]] working under [[Joan E. Jacoby]] and [[Charles R. Work]], project manager [[Bill Hamilton]]. He later became vice president of [[INSLAW]]. Brounstein did consulting for [[Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co]] (at least in 1972). He was a professor at Montgomery College. On June 7, 2017, Sidney passed away at the age of 88, after a short illness.
