[[Fred Ghanem]] was a figure with special knowledge of Lebanese communities in Detroit, Houston, and Los Angeles. His expertise led to a noticeable increase in [[Drug Enforcement Administration|DEA]]-controlled deliveries of heroin into the [[United States]].
